It is our great honor and privilege to announce the 2nd year of the new series of “COMBO-ENDOCRINOLOGY” comprehensive, annual workshops, organized by the Endocrine Unit of the 3rd Department of Medicine, Medical School, Athens University.
The main goal of these workshops is to provide a complete, in-depth knowledge on specific hot topics of Endocrinology in a combined approach with other medical/surgical specialties. COMBO-ENDOCRINOLOGY meetings will be monothematic courses providing knowledge through round tables, meet the expert sessions, case presentations and lectures. In addition, there will be ample space for interaction between Faculty members and participants.
The second COMBO-ENDOCRINOLOGY meeting will be held on October 1st-4th in Greece at the Conference Centre of “Evangelistria” Monastery, located in the area of Viotia, 120 km northwest of Athens. We have selected the Monastery of “Evangelistria” as the venue for this meeting for two reasons. Firstly, the unique natural beauty surrounding the Monastery, will constitute a great privilege for those who will decide to attend the meeting and stay in the Monastery. Secondly, and most importantly, a Monastery is a place of concentration, dedication and meditation. Our aim is to provide an environment where participants will all be able to concentrate to the topics of Endocrinology, be dedicated to the scientific goals of the Course and “absorb” the knowledge which will be shared there.
This year’s focus is on Neuroendocrine Tumours challenging issues. This topic will be presented and discussed during lectures in a systematic approach from diagnosis to management, considering future perspectives. Highlight of this course will be the Workshops/tutorials were participants will analyze challenging cases and become speakers themselves on a Virtual Congress setting.
We invite you to share this knowledge with researchers and clinicians of international scientific reputation.
The Organizing Committee ensures you an enjoyable and memorable stay in Greece and is looking forward to welcoming you.
